Adıyaman Grand Mosque (Ulu Camii)

The Adıyaman Grand Mosque (Ulu Camii), in the heart of the city, is its most important place of worship, reaching back through pre-Ottoman and Ottoman layers. Consequently, central places of worship and civil-architecture buildings may be undergoing repair or strengthening, or be temporarily closed; confirming current opening and safety status before visiting is strongly advised.

The Ulu Camii is a culture-and-faith stop on Adıyaman's central tour, on the same walking loop as the museum, the bazaar and the gastronomy stops.
